A 35-gallon natural polyethylene tank for antiscalant, pH adjustment or any metered chemical feed. Natural poly is translucent, so you can read the level at a glance instead of opening the lid — which matters when the thing you are checking is pH 2.

This is the tank that ships in our Complete Anti-Scalant Set-Up, sold separately for a dosing point you are building yourself or a second feed you are adding.

Sizing your batch

Bigger is not better with a solution tank. Diluted antiscalant grows biology after roughly a week, so a tank you only half empty in that time is a tank that ferments. Size the batch to about ten days of use and top up more often — our RO sizing tool works out the exact mix and refill interval for your system.

A 35-gallon tank is mostly air, and couriers charge for the space rather than the weight — it bills as about 110 lb no matter what is in it. Shipping it across the country can cost most of what the tank costs. If you are anywhere near Las Vegas, choose local pickup at checkout and skip that entirely.
